Libraries, museums, and archives have a great deal to offer human geography students. Libraries, museums, and archives contain large collections of books, articles, print media, historical documents, policy documents, photographs, films, and artefacts. These materials can provide valuable background information about social, cultural, economic, political, and historical conditions that are relevant to issues within human geography. Some libraries and museums can offer general information, while others can provide much more specific information (i.e., contain information about a specific location, culture, political issue, and so forth).
